Each brand and model of hub uses its own freehub body to hub interface.
If you need to change your freehub body, you will need to get the same brand and model.
You cannot mix-n-match freehub bodies from different brands. They will not work.
Freehub bodies are what the cassette is attached to, and this is attached to the hub with bearings and some sort of ratchet or pawl system to allow the cassette to freewheel when coasting, and then engage when you start pedaling.
Cassettes use different interfaces to attach to the freehub body. Just a few examples include SRAM XD, Shimano HG (Hyperglide), Shimano MD (Microdrive), and Campagnolo. Each one uses a unique spline interface to the cassette.
If you need help finding the correct freehub body, please provide us with the exact Make, Model, Year, and any other details like serial numbers on the hubs. We can try and find what may work for you. : )
