I think my Worldwide Cyclery Order was lost or stolen, what do I do now?

We understand—it’s incredibly frustrating when packages go missing. Whether it’s a case of a lost shipment in transit (like socks in the dryer) or someone deciding your bike parts are too cool to resist, here’s how to handle it.

Steps to Take:

1. Contact Your Local Post Office

If your order was shipped via USPS and hasn’t arrived within several days of the expected delivery date, visit your local Post Office. They’ll have more detailed insight into your package’s whereabouts than we do since our tracking access is the same as yours through the USPS website.

2. Check the Tracking Information

If the tracking status says "delivered," but you can’t find the package, follow these steps:

• Verify that the shipping address on your order is correct.
• Look for a notice of attempted delivery or delivery instructions left by the carrier.
• Inspect the delivery location carefully (porches, side doors, bushes, etc.).
• Check with neighbors or household members who might have accepted the package (if you’re comfortable doing so).
• Remember that packages sometimes travel through multiple carriers. Be sure to check your mailbox or other usual delivery spots.

3. Wait for Possible Delays

For USPS deliveries, wait at least 7 business days (or 30 days for international shipments) from the shipment date. Delays occasionally occur, and packages often show up a day or two later than expected. Note that USPS tracking can take up to 24 hours to update.

4. Signature-Required Deliveries

For orders over $500, we require a signature upon delivery. This helps ensure your package is securely handed over. However, the carrier ultimately determines if the delivery location is safe for leaving packages.

Key Things to Know:

• Some carriers deliver as late as 10 PM.
