Do you build custom wheels?

We often get asked if we build custom wheels.

The answer is, YES, we do build custom mountain bike wheels! : )

The Labor Charge is $50/wheel if all the components are purchased from us, i.e. hub, rim, spokes, nipples & washers.

(We DO NOT build custom wheels with Berd spokes.  Sorry.)

If you are interested in getting a wheel or wheelset built, we will need the following information:

Front Hub Spec: (Shop Front Hubs)

• Hub Make and Model
• Axle size (15x110 BOOST, 12x100, 15x100, etc)
• Brake Mount type (6-bolt or Centerlock)
• Hole Count
• Preferred Spoke type if known.

Rear Hub Spec: (Shop Rear Hubs)

• Hub Make and Model
• Axle size (12x148 BOOST, 12x157 Super-BOOST, 12x142, QR 135, etc.)
• Freehub (HG, XD, MS, etc.)
• Brake Mount type (6-bolt or Centerlock)
• Hole Count
• Preferred Spoke type if known.

Rim Spec: (Shop Rims)

• Make and Model
• Hole Count (This must match the hub spoke count!)
